The Alcoholic Song
Praise be thy name, Jim, Jack and Jose! lol
I find release in intoxication, drudging about incoherently so that I may lose my cool. I could be the devil but I decided to be the drunk. The saint makes these choices with ease, while I contemplate the gains I could reap. This was who I used to be, and the outcome has been confirmed. Ugly in nature and pathetic in response with reaction to who I could. Who will see you now, when your ‘friends’ have seen you for the who you really are? Becareful whom you trust, or that someone may be a song bird. A bird that sings a song that only the we may know that you are finally wrong. You can’t count the lucky stars for her, for they have made you blind; What this lovely victim has endured will find its way to your seed, for I, the unwilling serveant of karma, will apt to see you fail. So much you could learn, so much you could find, but all that was there was yourself and you. I am a step ahead of you son, for I have lost myself. Maybe someday you will see the biggest picture you could know, and find a little lost soul.
Now that you have guessed my name, know that it could too, be yours. For your understanding in this is just a light switch apart. I know for you, it is love or hate but you will see the light shine deep. For love is the reason for your hate, so hate has made you ill. Let go of the past and make the future yours. For this you can achieve by for once being the moment you trust.
I know you trust in you and the founding fathers of your fate but nothing stands longer than time. For time may be on your side but its purpose will kill the you you’ve known. So let go of the truths that only we could see so real. For ourselves deceive us for how cold we are. The conscience that you used to know, will serve the best of tools… because its there to lead the way, you’ll never be a stray. You must forgive me since the secret is out, while you pick the pieces and mend it to a craft, maybe you may just find out how I understood your thoughts. Why the mind is scattered like your pleasant rest and perhaps you will find a nest; Where you could lay in jest and hopefully find the who you are. Never underestimate the foe at the mountain’s foot, for he or she may have repent and will find you on a hook.
" Each tall mountain has a higher mountain." (chinese proverb)
"To err is human, to forgive is divine." Do you want to be human or saint?
