Dead or Alive
The dearly departed never fade away completely as we strive to hold on to the memory that is a part of our lives. Mortality is a subdued thought that is always scratching from the back of our minds; if nobody remembers me, will i be completely gone and erased? What about the loved ones that had a mere brief flash of existence? How do we hold on to them? Reflect on them over the faces that we know? Will they always be the face that brings back the memory of pain and loss? While we, the ones who walk the earth and attempt to sustain immortality through family and deeds will nonetheless be washed away by the sands of time. Time will pass, memories may fade, but love will always keep us together. At least i feel that is how it should be…

I’ve waited so long…. finally… Thanks

I can’t help but be reminded of Rabindranath Tagore by your effective use of minimal pathos, of Lao Tzu and Confucius by the mystic appeal of your style. I was teary-eyed when I read your article on” the dearly departed”. The snippets of thought you put in writing exposes genuine concern for your readers, generosity by your lofty ideals, and your sensitivity as well. Few will argue that your lyrical style was born out of personal experience. Sporadic slips into contemplative mood reveals true emotions as a result of a heart overflowing.
I did not mention the great men of literature as an attempt at comparison but as an emphasis for standards that a myriad writers lack.
And your blog title also reveals an attempt at self-criticism, albeit self-ridicule, a clear picture of humility. After all, a writer is what he writes.

finally a new one…a long while i’ve waited beating perfectly still at its own pace at the throes of a numbing silence..with your gift that runs naturally within you i very much appreciate to its highest level. it makes those who are uncertain in life look back and make another meaning to a history of such existence with your write-ups. you are and will be an epitome of those who have gone and yet to come.. thank you for sharing such gift. YOU WILL BE REMEMBERED not just by me but by everyone who have found you through what you have shared online….

my god! it is indeed inspiring…
they who are near me
do not know that you are nearer to me than they are
those who speak to me
do not know that my heart
is full with your unspken words…
those who crowd in my path
do not know that I am walking alone with you..
they who love me do not know
that their love brings you to
my heart…

Hello, its me again..I find this blog more significant this time since I lost my uncle a month ago…Living or dead, what matters is how much do we value people we come in contact with.. friend or stranger..boiling down to the point, had I loved them enough?.. LOVE defines relationship..not merely TOGETHERNESS..
